....and you have done a marvellous job here. We bask in the reflected glory! Client, residential project in Northumberland
Nigel interpreted our wishes in an artistic and practical way.
His approach to building design combines an awareness of what will look good in the context of its surroundings (a talent informed by his appreciation of beautiful buildings, landscape, and fine-art) and an ability to deliver an aesthetic space which fulfils all his client’s demands. Most importantly, his grasp of practical building techniques (his father was a house builder) enables him to foresee where problems might arise and, if necessary, he readily provides a solution. All the work he has done for us has been of the highest possible quality. Client in Northumberland
September 2015
The building odyssey which we have been experiencing over the last four months is drawing to its conclusion as I write. William and his team have worked through all the different weather conditions this 'summer' has thrown at us to produce a beautifully crafted extension to house a much needed office space for the Vicarage. Also I would like to express my appreciation to Ian Beswick the diocesan surveyor for supporting and pursuing this project over several years and enabling its successful completion. My thanks too go to Nigel Chandler, the architect, whose skill and imagination brought the project to birth.

Nigel is equally at home whether designing a hospital, a school, a house or house extension. Whatever the size of the project, he undertakes it with enthusiasm. When overseeing our projects his good working relationships with us, our builder, and local authority planning officials lead to a swift, smooth-running operation which is stress-free for us.
